Kirk Cousins spit some bars from ‘Hamilton’ during training camp

Kirk Cousins is apparently a big fan of Hamilton. Cousins was mic’d up for Washington’s practice Wednesday, and he took advantage of the opportunity to spit some bars from the popular Broadway show.

The $10 dollar founding father without a father, went a lot farther by working a lot harder, Cousins says.

I don’t want to be critical, but as someone who also drops these bars on a very regular basis, he got the words a little wrong. It’s got a lot farther, not went.

By being a lot smarter, by being a self-starter. By 14, they put him in charge of a trading charter.

Dang it, Kirk. They PLACED him in charge of a trading charter.

Michael Brockers Authentic Jersey So Cousins does have bars. He just doesn’t have the right words, and his flow is nothing to write home about. Still, he seems enthusiastic about it. This is hilarious, and I love Hamilton, so I’m going to give him an A for effort.

A penalty on the Cowboys during the extra point gave the Cardinals the ball at the 1-yard line, so they decided to go for two. After another Dallas penalty, Gabbert bulldozed in for the two-point conversion.

No Dak Prescott or Ezekiel Elliott, bummer. Instead, Kellen Moore and Darren McFadden got the start for the Cowboys. Moore was not Gabbert-esque, which is actually a criticism right now, and the Cowboys went three-and-out.

Don’t expect to see many starters in this game. The Cardinals started with the ball and trotted out … Blaine Gabbert. Wooooo, get excited!

To be fair, Gabbert was dealing on the first possession. His biggest play came on a 35-yard pass to Brittan Golden, but Gabbert was perfect on the drive, completing all three of his passes. Kerwynn Williams put the Cardinals on the board with a 5-yard touchdown run.
