The 27-year-old was left off the field for the duration of the Patriots’ 41-33 defeat to the Eagles in Minneapolis Sunday.
In his absence the Patriots defense was shredded by Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, who won the game’s MVP award after throwing for 373 yards and three touchdowns.
“But I also learned a lot in my three years at UCLA. I learned how to handle a lot of ups and a lot of downs — adversity, success — so it was a blessing in disguise. UCLA is an incredible school. I wouldn’t have attended anywhere else, even in retrospect. I’m glad I went through those three years for good and bad.”
Rosen’s main goal now is to dispel as much about the “bad” as hesurrounding his draft profile.
Even though Wentz was unable to play in the Eagles’ 41-33 win over the Patriots Sunday, he was instrumental in getting the team into playoff contention. Before he tore his ACL in December, Wentz led Philadelphia to an 11-2 record and threw for 3,296 yards, 33 touchdowns and had a 101.9 quarterback rating.

Dolphins head coach Adam Gase, in preparation for this, gave his players five days off following their Thursday night loss Oct. 26 to the Ravens, and this past week they were off Tuesday and Wednesday after their Monday night loss to the Panthers.
“We’re planning the way we needed to plan it,” Gase said. “We felt like giving ourselves time as coaches and giving our players the proper time to recover after a game was important to us.”
